Strengthening health systems through partnerships

Marie Stopes International is leading the way towards doing better and doing more in family planning and safe abortion. And, by working in Partnership with others it believes even more can be achieved.

For more than 20 years, Marie Stopes International has worked in partnership with the NHS. Many Primary Care Trusts recognise that Marie Stopes International, with its expertise and experience, has an important role to play in their sexual health strategies by offering clients choice, innovative service delivery and by being responsive to individual needs.

By streamlining sexual health service delivery and by making it user friendly, Marie Stopes International is now the partner of choice for 70 Primary Care Trusts. It supports those Trusts in a variety of ways, from providing a centralised booking system to facilitate choice, and managing waiting lists through to offering a range of sexual health services and having a team of experts ready to give help and advice.

Marie Stopes International also works with Sexual Health Leads and Teenage Pregnancy Co-ordinators to look at the sexual health requirements of the communities they serve.
